This season’s updated Chelsea boot bridges the gap between classic British tailoring and rugged Australian workwear, with a sleek silhouette that’s deceptively weather resistant. Unlike the ubiquitous two-piece construction of most other Chelsea boots, the FEIT Chelsea is built from a single piece of roughout suede which is hand-stitched up the back.
A thin layer of natural wax is added for natural water resistance, and the seamless construction makes for an exceptionally comfortable fit that can withstand the elements with style. Last season’s chunky Vibram outsole has been slimmed down with a more tailored stacked leather sole, with an added layer of protective rubber sheeting at the toe and heel for traction and protection in snow, sleet, and rain.
This minimal take on a classic style appears refined and simple, but the restrained design belies an unmatched level of craftsmanship. Each pair is built by hand using FEIT’s unique hand-sewn Goodyear construction, and the eight stitches running through the leather pull-tab at the heel are a subtle reminder that behind each pair of boots is a pair of human hands.
