Knit from a soft, natural wool, our beanies are made in Japan by a team of master craftsmen under the guidance of Kijima Takayuki. Each beanie features a vegetable-tanned leather tab hand-stitched to the side that will darken and patina with age. The beanies are made in a 100% natural wool with no synthetics that utilizes a unique technique to produce quality results for a soft and easy wear not possible with mass production. The undyed wool material creates a slouchy, soft and unstructured baseball-style cap, perfect for all-year round wear.
All FEIT shoes are made from start to finish by one master craftsman. The one-piece upper is sewn by hand directly to the midsole. A cork footbed and a bamboo shank stabilizer is added, then the leather outsole is cemented to the midsole using a natural, water-based glue. We refer to this process as a modified hand-sewn Goodyear construction.
Goodyear construction ensures all FEIT shoes can be resoled.
Each pair of FEIT shoes comes with an extra set cork and buffalo leather insoles to assist with in-between sizing. The additional leather insole can be used alone, or the cork can be inserted underneath the leather for extra padding. If you are between sizes, you can either size up and use the included insoles, or size down and use no additional insoles. All FEIT shoes include an additional buffalo leather insert that may cause slippage if worn with a sock. Flip the insert if friction is scarce.
