New York CAPTURED

MAY 5th 2020 – DAY 45 OF QUARANTINE

While the rest of the world is starting to open up, New York City is locked down. FEIT reached out to New York creatives asking them to capture and share an image from their isolated perspective, creating a visual time capsule of this unprecedented moment. A selection of these would form an exhibition of limited series of prints, with all profits supporting the New Museum.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

  1. Capture the city from your isolated perspective.
  2. If desired describe your experience.
  3. Tag @feitdirect and @newmuseum
  4. Include hashtags #feitfornewyork #newyorkcaptured
  5. Add your location

More About New Museum

New Museum is the only museum in New York City exclusively devoted to contemporary art. Founded in 1977, the New Museum is a center for exhibitions, information, and documentation about living artists from around the world. From its beginnings as a one-room office on Hudson Street to the inauguration of its first freestanding building on the Bowery designed by SANAA in 2007, the New Museum continues to be a place of experimentation and a hub of new art and new ideas.
